Supported Tour

The perfect balance between autonomy and assistance.

Thanks to the simplicity of use of the biking GPS, which we include, you can enjoy your day the way you want. We suggest places for lunch and dinner as well as the activities not to be missed on the itinerary we have created.

A support vehicle (van) and its driver-guide will accompany you. It will pick you up on the first day at the meeting place and drop you off at the end of your stay. At each stage, he transfers your luggage. For more security and comfort, the van is at your disposal for the duration of your trip. It will stay nearby to provide you with supplies, to solve any mechanical problems or to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in case of fatigue or capricious weather. Finally, since we choose to offer you the most beautiful itineraries, it sometimes requires a transfer to make the junction between two stages.

Our trips are privatized, offering you the guarantee to travel in small groups with your friends or family.

    BIKe itinerary

    Welcome to Basque Country

We will meet you at Toulouse airport at 1 pm before taking you to your hotel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. We take advantage of this first day to adjust your bikes, present the tour and explore this beautiful basque town and its bay over the Atlantic Ocean.

    Saint-Jean-de-Luz > Larrau

Leaving the Atlantic coast behind us, we enter the interior for a 100% Basque country day. We cross Sare, Ainhoa, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, villages classified among the most beautiful in France. It is after this last one that the first big passes of the trip appear: Burdincurutcheta (1135 m) and Bagargiak (1327 m) follow each other in the last third of this first stage across the Pyrenees.

    LARRAU > EAUX-BONNES

As soon as you leave Larrau, the irregular slopes of the Col de Soudet (1540 m) will lead you to the magnificent site of the Pierre Saint Martin (1765 m) if you wish to prolong the pleasure. The short but difficult Col de Marie Blanque (1035 m) leads then to the Ossau Valley and the thermal village of Eaux-Bonnes, on the first slopes of the Aubisque.

    EAUX-BONNES > GÈDRE-GAVARNIE

Often in the shadow of the Tourmalet, the Col d’Aubisque (1709 m) is nevertheless a must in the Pyrenees and in the Tour de France. From Eaux-Bonnes, the steep and uneven slopes lead to a spectacular stretch of road, towards the Col du Soulor (1474 m). From there, we reach the valley of Luz-Saint Sauveur and climb the slopes of the majestic Cirque de Troumouse (2088 m), the largest of the 3 cirques of the Pyrenees National Park, before descending to Gèdre-Gavarnie for the night.

    GÈDRE-GAVARNIE > LOUDENVIELLE

The Col du Tourmalet (2115 m), the most sacred mountain of the Tour de France, has been climbed more than 80 times by the riders since 1910. This mastodon, which has become a monument over the years, dominates the Adour and Campan valleys from a great height. We then take the direction of the unknown but very bucolic Col de la Hourquette d’Ancizan (1564 m). From here, we can go directly to Loudenvielle or make a detour via the Col d’Azet (1580 m).

    LOUDENVIELLE > SAINT-LARY

The day begins with the ascent of the emblematic Col de Peyresourde (1569 m) which marks the border between the Hautes-Pyrénées and the Haute-Garonne! At the bottom of the descent, we attack the slopes of the Port de Balès (1755 m) which offers us a splendid view on the surrounding summits. We then pass the Col de Menté (1349 m) and its terrible slopes before entering Arriège by the Col du Portet d’Aspet (1069 m).

    SAINT-LARY > TARASCON-SUR-ARIEGE

This day in Ariège allows us to discover a marvelous department where the Pyrenees show themselves under their wildest light. The mystical Bethmale Valley takes us to the unknown Col de la Core (1305 m) before a sequence of Col d’Agnès (1570 m) / Port de Lers (1517 m) and its lake before a long descent to Tarascon-sur-Ariège.

    TARASCON-SUR-ARIEGE > MoliTG-les-Bains

We quickly gain height thanks to the Route des Corniches which leads us to the Col du Chioula (1431 m) on the heights of Ax-les-Thermes. The giant of the day, the Port de Pailhères (2001 m) is sometimes compared to the Tourmalet for its length and steep finish. Once at the top we switch to the Aude, in a landscape and a climate already Mediterranean. This impression will be accentuated by the last climb of the day, the Col de Jau (1506 m) which marks the border between the Aude and the Pyrénées-Orientales and which allows us to conclude the most difficult day of this adventure.

    Molitg-les-Bains > COLLIOURE

During this last stage, dominated by the majestic Canigou, we cross the splendid small roads of the Catalan back country: Col de Palomère (1036 m), Col Xatard (752 m), Col Fourtou (646 m). The arrival on the Mediterranean Sea is done by a spectacular small road which offers us an exceptional panorama on the Côte Vermeille, the terraced vineyards and the charming village of Collioure.
