Thanks to the simplicity of use of the biking GPS, which we include, you can enjoy your day the way you want. We suggest places for lunch and dinner as well as the activities not to be missed on the itinerary we have created.

A support vehicle (van) and its driver-guide will accompany you. It will pick you up on the first day at the meeting place and drop you off at the end of your stay. At each stage, he transfers your luggage. For more security and comfort, the van is at your disposal for the duration of your trip. It will stay nearby to provide you with supplies, to solve any mechanical problems or to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in case of fatigue or capricious weather.     Welcome to the FRench Pyrenees

    We will meet you at Toulouse Airport at 2 pm, before taking you to your hotel in the heart of the French Pyrenees. We take advantage of this first day to adjust your bikes, discuss the stay and enjoy the city of Lourdes.

    Oloron-Sainte-Marie > Lourdes

    The short but difficult Col de Marie Blanque (1035 m) leads then to the Ossau Valley and the thermal village of Eaux-Bonnes, on the first slopes of the Aubisque. Often in the shadow of the Tourmalet, the Col d’Aubisque (1709 m) is nevertheless a must in the Pyrenees and in the Tour de France. The steep and uneven slopes lead to a spectacular stretch of road, towards the Col du Soulor (1474 m).

    Lourdes > HAUTACAM

    The Hautacam station has been on several occasions a stage arrival of the Tour de France. At each pedal stroke, panoramic views of the Argelès Valley, the Val d’Azun and the peaks of the Vignemale massif will help you to reach the end of this climb! At the top, take a break to enjoy the panorama before setting off for a magical descent of more than 16 km!

    Lourdes > Tourmalet & Luz-Ardiden 

    Col du Tourmalet (16.5km at 7.5% / alt.2115m) is the most used climb in the Tour de France. 2019 was be the 87th time it has been used. It is in 1913 in Sainte-Marie-de-Campan, at the foot of the Tourmalet that Eugene Christophe somehow managed to fix his broken fork. After a long descent towards, the ascent of Luz-Ardiden (14.7 km at 6.9% / alt.1720m) and its wonderful switchbacks awaits for us. In 2011, Thomas Voeckler gave it all to save his yellow jersey, superbly lead by his teammate Pierre Rolland.
