Book / EnquireWe will meet you at the Geneva airport at 3pm unless you prefer to meet us directly at the hotel. We will take advantage of the late afternoon to adjust the bikes and present you your stay. You will spend the next four nights in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc.

This morning we head for Lac Vert, an emblematic natural site of the French Alps, the road will wind through chalets and forest before leading us to its transparent waters. From there, we go back down to the valley and then up to Saint-Gervais to see the stage 15 of the Tour de France.

After a short transfer, you start your stage in Megève. On the program of the day, the col des Saisies, the col du Pré and the Cormet de Roselend with its unique landscape offering a view on the Mont Blanc. During stage 17, the Tour de France will also take this series of passes.

Route: 70 km / 2300m D+ (4.5 miles)

From the hotel, you will head towards the Swiss border. On the program: the difficult ascent to the Émosson dam which was the scene of an arrival during the 2016 Tour. After lunch, you will spend the afternoon on the roadside of the Tour, contemplating the only time trial of this 2023 edition between Passy and Combloux.

Route: 40 km / 1700m D+

You attend the start of stage 17 between Saint-Gervais and Courchevel. After a short transfer to the valley, you will climb to the Romme pass and then to the Colombière pass before concluding with the difficult ascent of the Glières and its last two unpaved kilometers. Made famous these last years by the Tour de France, this plateau is a high place of the French Resistance during the Second World War.

Accommodation: Hotel & Spa St Alban 4* – La Clusaz
A last day that will lead you to Annecy! But before that, you will have to pass the Aravis and La Croix Fry passes as well as the terrible Forclaz pass which will reward you with its panorama on the Annecy lake.

This cycling tour in the legend of the Tour de France with Veymont Travel comes to an end. After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Geneva airport.
