Our job is to design and lead cycling tours in France and Europe. During the conception process we carefully identify the itineraries, on the spot, in the regions and countries we have selected. In order for you to live your experience to the fullest, we carefully select the hotels, restaurants, bikes and activities that we offer.
To allow us the greatest flexibility, our team is based in France, between Alps and Provence.
You wish to modify one of our stays according to your desires, to thematize it (oenology, cooking, history) or to privatize it? It’s possible and it doesn’t cost more!
All our itineraries are designed to offer you a maximum of possibilities. The bike tours cover a minimum distance, but if you wish you can cover a few more kilometres by choosing the longest route. Every cyclist has his or her own rhythm and this rhythm must be respected.
Do you want to relax while your partner rides? Just let us know. We can plan a relaxing day as easily as a day cycling in the mountains.
Whether it’s a cultural bike trip combining vineyards and heritage (Portugal, Provence, Burgundy, Loire Valley…), a challenging bike trip allowing you to climb mythical climbs such as the Mont Ventoux or experience the greatest professional cycling races such as the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix or the Tour de France, we offer trips for all preferences.
Veymont Travel was created to provide a unique travel experience for all types of cyclists. Tell us what you are comfortable doing and we will adapt. For some, the travel experience is complete when they can enjoy some free time. For others, it’s all about going for it!
As you have understood, we can respond to both types of request.
Our stays have all been checked during field scouting. This part is essential to be able to offer you the best possible experience. We select the most beautiful and culturally interesting itineraries. We also place great importance on safety, which is why we choose low-traffic routes.
Our travel offer highlights unmissable destinations such as the Loire Valley or Provence. But we also like to propose more secret destinations, those which, less known, will perhaps surprise you even more: have you ever heard of the Cognac & Atlantic Coast, the Languedoc, the Vercors or the Dordogne & Lot ?
Whether you have chosen the “Supported”, “Guided” or “Custom” option, an assistance vehicle and its driver-guide (9-seater van) will accompany you during your stay so that it runs smoothly.
Our driver-guide will pick you up the first day at the meeting place and drop you off at the end of your stay. At each stage, he transfers your luggage. For more security and comfort, the support vehicle is at your disposal for the duration of your trip. It will stay nearby to provide you with supplies, to solve any mechanical problems or to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in case of fatigue or capricious weather.
In order to give you the best experience, we offer a complete and recent range of bikes: road bikes, hybrid bikes, e-bikes (road and hybrid), or gravel bikes.We work with the best brands: Pinarello, Trek, Scott… The bikes are adapted to your size and we provide all the necessary equipment: helmet, pedals, bike GPS…
In our ” Supported” and ” Guided ” tours, bike rental is included.
Please note that it is possible for you to travel with your own bike.
After a day on the bike, rest is essential. Every evening, you sleep in charming hotels. In the creation of each stay we attach great importance to the selection of accommodation.
The cuisine is part of the journey. That’s why we select the best establishments offering a cuisine that is linked to their territory, to enrich your travel experience.
After a generous breakfast, our guides will find the perfect place for lunch. Picnic or brasserie, the places are determined on the day according to the advancement of the group. After the effort, the comfort, our guides will take you to the chosen establishment to allow you to share a dinner in a convivial atmosphere, sometimes even in very atypical places.
Full board is included in our “Guided” stays only.
You have chosen the “Freedom” option? Our team will guide you, advise you according to your wishes and take care of the reservations. If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let us know.
During each stage, refreshments (fruit, bars, local products, sweet, salty, drinks, coffee…) are included so that you can fill up with energy to continue the adventure in all peace of mind. Our driver-guide is at your disposal throughout your trip. He stays close by and offers you snacks at the top of the ascents, at certain intersections and at times when you need it.
In order to respect the legislation, all our bike guides are qualified by the French State. The accompaniment of our stays by our team of professionals allows us to guide you in the best possible way during your trip, but also to ensure your safety and to respond to your needs in real time. Our team speaks French, English and Spanish.
Because we want you to enjoy the best of each destination with tastings, visits & more…That’s why we include in our “Guided” stays the visits that we consider as essential.
In the “supported” version we recommend all the activities that make the charm of the region, letting your curiosity guide you.
