BASED IN THE VERY HEART OF PROVENCE

For this cycling holiday, we are based in Gordes, on the most beautiful village of France and with no doubt the most iconic of Provence.

A bike tour in Provence is the ultimate way of life: the scents of lavender and scrubland, the singing of cicadas, sunny cuisine… An atmosphere that you will enjoy every single day during your tour. Visit the Abbey of Senanque & the beautiful villages of the Luberon and enjoy the show by opening your eyes wide to a nature where the green of the Luberon competes with the ochres of Roussillon and the purple of the lavender fields. On the city side, you can also take this opportunity to discover Avignon that will charm you with its palaces, gardens, ramparts, and bell towers.

Day 3

Senanque Abbey & Fontaine de Vaucluse

Nestled in a small valley on the edge of lavender fields, the monastery of Sénanque is part of its environment, between stone and vegetation. The Abbey of Sénanque remains as one of the purest witnesses of early Cistercian architecture. Nowadays the places are still in use and even inhabited by Cistercian monks as a place of retreat.

The village of Fontaine de Vaucluse had the privilege of giving its name to the department (Vaucluse) which means the enclosed Valley, at the bottom of which mysteriously rises the Sorgue. An enchanting site, La Fontaine de Vaucluse, continues to intrigue and attract visitors.
