Its name is associated with the warm day of July, when the Tour de France takes its route. The first arrival at Alpe d’Huez dates back to 1952, since when it has become one of the most famous climbs in the world. Its 21 turns, originally numbered to help the snowplows during the winter, will be a landmark in your ascent. This part of the Alps has other climbs: Sarenne, Solude, less famous but offering great panoramas.
We will meet you at the Grenoble TGV station at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Vaujany. We will take advantage of the afternoon to present you the course of the trip and adjust your bike.
