AN ADVENTURE in the extreme south of europe, in the heart of the spanish culture

Located in the extreme south of Spain, Andalusia was for a long time the last frontier of Europe. Largest region in the country with an area comparable to that of Portugal, its sense of color, music and celebration, its rugged mountains, its picturesque white villages flooded with sunshine, the charm of its past splendor will captivate you.

Day 1 : Welcome to Andalusia

We will meet you at the Seville airport at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Ronda. In the afternoon we will take the opportunity to introduce you to the program and adjust your bike.

Meals: Dinner

Accomodation: Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa 4* – Ronda

This first ride takes you through the wooded hills and olive groves of northern Ronda. Perched on a hill, the village of Olvera is characterized by its white houses that reflect the splendor of the Andalusian sun. We will take the time to discover its narrow streets, its church and its castle before heading back to Ronda.
We will take advantage of the afternoon to discover the production of organic olive oil in a farm and of course taste it.

The city of Ronda, with its Arab reminiscences and medieval layout, is separated in two by the Tajo del Ronda, a deep gorge of more than 150 meters that the spectacular “Ponte Nuevo” (New Bridge) has proudly spanned since the 18th century. This is the starting point of the day that will take you to the heart of the Serrania de Ronda, and its white villages (pueblos blancos). The descent to Casares offers a panoramic view of the Costa del Sol, the Rock of Gibraltar, the entrance to the Strait and the Moroccan coast.

You evolve in the heart of the olive trees before taking altitude and joining the forests of conifers. The last ascent of the day takes place in a rocky landscape. From there it is only a few kilometers to Ronda. In addition to producing olives, the region of Ronda is a wine-growing area with different grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah or Merlot. We take advantage of the end of the day to visit a Bodega and taste the local wines.
