A cycling trip in Provence is the ultimate way of life: the scents of lavender and scrubland, the singing of cicadas, sunny cuisine wine tasting… An atmosphere that you will enjoy every single day during your tour. Visit the Abbey of Sénanque, the beautiful villages of the Luberon, the troglodytic habitat in Les Baux-de-Provence, the Pope Palace in Avignon, a morning market in Saint Remy de Provence. From the summit of the Mont Ventoux, the panorama opens onto the Alps and the Mediterranean.
We will meet you at the Avignon TGV station at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Les-Baux-de-Provence. It is one of the purest witnesses of early Cistercian architecture. Nowadays the places are still in use and even inhabited by Cistercian monks as a place of retreat. The village of Fontaine de Vaucluse had the privilege of giving its name to the department (Vaucluse) which means the enclosed Valley, at the bottom of which mysteriously rises the Sorgue.
