It’s the queen of the classics. Since 1896, Paris-Roubaix has been the most spectacular cycling race in the world. Here it is the length, repetition and irregularity of the cobblestones that make this race so unique. Veymont takes you to an introduction to the track in the new Roubaix velodrome, then you experience your Paris-Roubaix with the sportive Paris-Roubaix Challenge: Arenberg, le Carrefour de l’Arbre and Roubaix’s mythical velodrome. Finally, on the day of the pro race, it is in the paved sector of the Carrefour de l’Arbre, key point of the race, about 15 km from the finish, that you will view the riders passing on their way to glory.     We welcome you at Lille Europe Train Station at 2 pm and drive you at your hotel in Lille where we’ll stay for four nights, perfectly located to enjoy Paris – Roubaix, the main event of the spring classics season . After a bike fitting and a tour orientation, we explore this splendid city. All the ingredients are in place to make the capital of French Flanders a must. A stroll in Old Lille, the discovery of alternative places will delight you. Also enjoy the shops of young creators, the countless offers of the music scene, and all the cafés…. The sense of celebration and hospitality of the people of Lille are not usurped qualities!

    Ride on cobbles – Track Initiation – Visit of Roubaix’S vELODROME

    On the day’s programme, a short ride (about 20 km) to learn how to ride on the mythical cobblestones of Roubaix. After picking up your bib for the Prais –  Roubaix CHallenge of tomorrow, we will continue with a visit to the Roubaix open air velodrome, and its mythical showers with name’s of Paris – Roubaix legends… before concluding with an initiation on the track in the new Roubaix indoor velodrome.

    Today you are living the legend of Paris-Roubaix by taking the start of the sporty “Paris-Roubaix Challenge” (75 or 140 kms). You ride on the mythical cobblestones 24 hours before the pro race ! On our guided tour, our cycling guide will ride the event as well and support you all day.

    Paris – Roubaix Pro RACE VIEWING

    Located about fifteen kilometres from the finish line, Le Carrefour de l’arbre is one of the most difficult cobbled sector in Paris-Roubaix. Quite often, this is where the race is played out. Veymont takes you there to enjoy the Pro race.
