Normandy Unveiled: A Refined Blend of Coastal Splendor and Living History

The Normandy region offers a cycling experience that is as much a tribute to bravery as it is to natural splendor. Riding through these landscapes means traversing history, from the colorful harbor of Honfleur and the medieval masterpiece of the Bayeux Tapestry to the windswept D-Day landing beachesOmaha, Gold, and Juno—where the echoes of the past still resonate. This is a land of lush greenery and half-timbered houses, where the white cliffs of the Alabaster Coast defy the tides of the Channel. From the chic boardwalks of Deauville to the majestic silhouette of Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy offers an authentic and powerful heritage.

Our itineraries take you to iconic landmarks but also deep into the bocage, following the quiet lanes of the Pays d’Auge. You will glide through apple orchards and emerald pastures, tasting the famous Camembert and the refined ciders and Calvados that have defined this terroir for centuries. The route offers a perfect balance between flat coastal paths and rolling hills, providing a deep immersion into the soul of Northern France.

At the end of each stage, the experience continues with stays in historic manor houses and coastal villas, where the rich gastronomy of Normandy awaits: fresh seafood, buttery pastries, and local delicacies. More than just a bike tour, it is a refined celebration of freedom and nature.

Normandy reveals its true beauty from May to September. Late spring offers blooming orchards, while the late summer provides the best light for the coastal cliffs and pleasant temperatures.

Expect a mix of coastal flats and rolling bocage. Highlights include the D-Day beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry, and the Mont Saint-Michel, riding through cider routes and scenic cliffs.

For our Normandy Bike Tour, we recommend arriving at Rouen station. Your journey concludes with a drop-off at Rennes station, both of which offer easy high-speed connections to Paris.
