We will meet you at the Turin airport at predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Serralunga d’Alba. In the afternoon we will take the opportunity to introduce you to the program and adjust your bike.

Shortly after departure we enter the beautiful city of Alba, world famous for its truffles. Its historic heart and lively streets make this city a place where you feel good. We take a little bit of height and continue in the Barbaresco vineyard. We will discover this wine among the most prestigious of Italy during a tasting. We’ll let the hills carry us to the picturesque village of Neive, one of the most beautiful in Piedmont, before heading back to the hotel.

This little known region called Langhe south of Piedmont is the origin of the Slow Food movement. Some of the best wines in Italy and in the world are produced here, and some of the Langhe vineyards are on the UNESCO world heritage list. Here truffles are hunted in the wild and the Piedmontese hazelnut is cultivated, renowned for its flavor. Chocolate with whole hazelnuts and chocolate/hazelnut spreads are also regional specialties that have conquered the world. Today’s itinerary takes us through the hills between ridges and valleys, perched villages and vineyards as far as the eye can see. In the afternoon, we take the opportunity to search for the precious seasonal truffles in the heart of the surrounding hills.

This last stage in the Piedmont leads us to the heart of the magnificent village of La Morra and its panorama on the whole region. We continue to the village of Barolo for a wine tasting, before reaching Monforte d’Alba. On the way you can see the Italian Alps in the distance.
