French Riviera & Provence: Iconic and secret coastal roads

Experience the definitive French Riviera cycling tour with Veymont Travel, a journey blending the floral charm of Bormes-les-Mimosas with the glamour of Saint-Tropez and the wild but gentle peaks of Provence. Your adventure begins in Bormes, the gateway to the Massif des Maures, where technical hairpins lead to the silent, cork-oak forests of the “Hidden Provence.” From there, explore the wild side of the Saint-Tropez Peninsula, riding the coastal lanes of Cap Camarat and climbing to the perched villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle for iconic views over Pampelonne Beach.

As the route turns inland toward the Provence Verte, you will discover the heart of the Var, passing through the historic estates of Entrecasteaux and the monumental troglodyte cliffs of Cotignac. The scenery shifts toward the limestone majesty of the Sainte-Baume massif, leading to the legendary ascent of the Col de l’Espigoulier—the region’s highest pass. The journey reaches a cinematic finale on the world-famous Route des Crêtes. Suspended above the Mediterranean on the towering cliffs of Cap Canaille, you’ll enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the Calanques National Park before a majestic descent into the port of Cassis.

This Mediterranean road bike adventure is about more than the miles; it’s the reward of a chilled rosé in a sun-drenched square and the rhythmic song of cicadas. Join us for an exclusive itinerary designed for cyclists seeking iconic French climbs, raw beauty, and premium Veymont service.
